Target Valentine clearance

I'm always drawn to Target's holiday decor section, but I try and wait to buy anything until after the holiday, so it's on clearance. All this was 50% off - plates, dish towels, dish rags and window clings. All set for next year!

Hopeless romantics

My husband, Craig, and I, have never been big into romance and trying to "woo" the other. When Valentine's Day rolls around, we treat it like any other day and don't get into the commercialization of the holiday. Craig hates having his picture taken, but I talked him into posing for a few self-portraits of us as my Valentine's Day "gift". He won't admit that he actually had fun, but he did. :) I ran a vintage action on these, trying something new in photoshop.

Valentine fortune cookies

Made these last night for Valentine's Day. Cut 4.5 inch cirlces out of felt. Then, cut strips of 24 guage wire and and also ribbon, just shorter than 4.5 inches. With craft glue, glue the wire in the center of the circle and place ribbon on top. Allow to dry. Then fold in half at the wire and slightly bend the ends out to form a fortune cookie. I put two Hershey hugs inside along with a fortune and then stapled them in a small glassine bag.
