This is a plain white microfiber towel with some bright-colored patchwork. 
I made myself a small bulletin board. I covered the corkboard with linen fabric and then made a patchwork pocket. The tacks are made from fabric covered buttons.
Here are some more fabric covered tacks and then a patchwork covered pencil holder (made from a soup can).
